Take a Ride With
Cycling Without Age Door County

Our Mission

Cycling Without Age (CWA) is a global nonprofit movement started in 2012 by Ole Kassow in Copenhagen, Denmark. Today, more than 3,000 chapters around the world are creating opportunities for connection through shared trishaw rides.

We are bringing the mission of promoting well-being and connection to our local community by offering free trishaw rides to older adults and people with varying mobility needs. We ride along the scenic roads, parks, and waterfronts that make Door County special. Each ride is designed to create space for connection, fresh air, and meaningful time together.

“Fresh air, friendship, waving to people…..It’s the quickest  way to make friends.”

- Frank Sticher

Our Inspiration

Cycling Without Age is built on a simple idea:

Small moments of connection can change how we experience the world.

A ride can be many things. A chance to get outside, to revisit familiar places, or explore Door County for the first time, to share stories, or to spend time together in a new and fun way.

Rides help people stay connected to their community, experience the beauty around them, and remain part of the places and stories that matter to them the most.
